About
Full Throttle for Vets

Mission
At Full Throttle for Vets, our mission is to unite the community through a shared passion for automotive culture, service, and giving back to honor and support our nation’s veterans. Through impactful events, fundraising initiatives, and community partnerships, we strive to raise awareness around veteran suicide, advocate for mental health support, and provide meaningful assistance to veterans and their families.

We believe no veteran should fight their battles alone. By bringing people together, creating conversations, and supporting organizations that serve our heroes, we aim to build hope, connection, and lasting change — one event, one story, and one life at a time.
Vision
At Full Throttle for Vets, we envision a future where every veteran feels seen, supported, and never alone. Our goal is to create a strong community of awareness, compassion, and action that helps break the stigma surrounding mental health and veteran suicide.

Through unity, advocacy, and purpose-driven events, we strive to become a driving force for hope — empowering veterans and their families with the support, resources, and community they deserve while inspiring others to stand beside those who served our country.

History
Full Throttle for Vets, formerly known as the Mission 22 Show & Shine, began in 2020 in support of Mission 22, a national organization dedicated to raising awareness for veteran suicide prevention. The inaugural event welcomed approximately 150 vehicles and raised nearly $11,000 to support veteran suicide awareness initiatives.

Over the next four years, the event continued to grow under the Mission 22 Show & Shine name, bringing together the community through a shared passion for automotive culture while supporting an important cause.

In 2025, the event was rebranded as Full Throttle for Vets to expand its impact within the local community by directly supporting local veteran-focused organizations. That year, Healing Paws for Warriors was selected as the event beneficiary.

Over the past five years, the event has raised more than $90,000 in support of veteran suicide awareness and veteran-focused initiatives. As the event continues to grow, our mission remains the same: to honor our veterans, raise awareness, and make a lasting difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
